Right, the small side has some of the best small defensemen, where the big is all over the place and completely flawed. Guys like Hedman or Parayko or Burns should be in there. Once you include the top big guys, then it's the big guys, no questions asked.

I think he was going for the aggressive physical aspect along with size. Guys like Parakyo and Hedman have size, but they aren't really all that physical.

Fair, but there are still others out there that would be better.

You need both size and skill to win in the playoffs. So I would not want just size for the sake of size, or small just for the sake of skill. Both are more desirable.
