Correct punching people is more like fighting. I'd define grit as finishing checks, strong on the puck, in front of the net/boards, maybe even agitating. Grundstrom didnt do this anymore than Gauthier in the small sample size that I saw him playGrit doesnt equal punching people

Pretty sure he has to be protected regardless due to the fact he's burning a professional year off his deal whether he plays the 9 games or not.If he plays more than 9 this year he will require protection from Seattle
He still gets exposed regardless. He's 21 so this season in the A counts as a year in proIf he plays more than 9 this year he will require protection from Seattle
