Lighten up Francis. It is an amusing anecdote that doesn't mean that every Philly fan acts that way. Be proud that you are known to taunt and jeer the opposition and make it a tough place to play. More cities should show as much emotion as Philly does. It makes for better games and rivalries. :handclap:

Most of those people are dead now. Literally.

It's not amusing when people regurgitate the same garbage over and over thinking that it's funny. It's tiresome.

Anyway, only commenting on that because I think it's pretty obvious how awful the OP proposal is.

No need to make it worse. Why don't we wait until Sanheim plays a game in the NHL before we say that he could be better.

Because it's not that unrealistic. This trade has a lot to do with potential and so that's the potential. As others have said we wouldn't want shatty at nearly any realistic value. No one cares about this years playoff push, especially not hexy or Hak. They are and we are looking at the longterm picture where three of the current poor dmen are traded or become ufas and are replaced by some high end talent. Trading for a dman now doesn't make any sense. I get it because the flyers were that team to go all in at the deadline every year and hope for the best but that never worked and hexy was brought in to do things right.

No to this pointless trade. No to Shatty in the summer for whatever he signs for, which will be more than 6x6.

I'll make it even worse, Sanheim WILL BE better than Shattenkirk. Lets not make Shattenkirk out to be a stud defenseman, he's not. He's a good 1/2 a point a game offensive defenseman
