And he's 25. If he emerges as a legit starter, we've solved our G issue. Then, the focus can turn to a 1C (assuming Roy pans out as a top pairing, PMD.)

So we got a top 4 defensemen locked in in the long term and some good potential defense prospects in Roy(especially if he hits like sr and jux expect) and Mueller. So defense is set for now.

If Jones hits, then we have our goalie situation resolved in the long term.

That really does just leave the top end of our forward group.

I am ok with this to be honest. Seems a bit high, but if he is as good as he is supposed to be, I will take it.

Plus, since he is an RFA he should not be too expensive to sign right now. Leaves tons of cap space for us to sign for a UFA top-4 D-man. I am damn sure that we are getting a UFA top-4 D-man now.
