:skeptic:Sens are playing a good game thus far. Where was this effort 2 months ago?

The uncertainty is gone (other than the EK contract ofc). We now know that this is the group that will mostly be here for next year... That can make a difference too.

We all hope so, IF he is here.

I think it would do him wonder to stay injury free for a season. Everytime he start to play well he receive a puck to the hand..

Ryan is really good at being the guy who stands in front of the net on the pp. good at tipping pucks. The problem is when you play that role you take a lot of abuse. Slashes, getting hit by pucks etc. So he will likely get hit in the hand a few times doing that.

Stone and Pageau had a nice run together in 2015-2016 when Turris went down as well. He can’t carry a line but when he plays with talent he always has done well.

Next year :

Hoffman-Duchene-1stroundpick
Ryan-Pageau-Stone
Dzingel-Brown-White
Pyatt-Chlapik-Gaborik
McCormick

Smith traded for picks/prospects
Burrows with retention traded for a late pick

Get a Top-4 LD
Fix goaltending
Fix coaching

I still think that Ryan has been misused here. Our coaches have never consistently given him first line minutes and linemates. He's always getting shuffled around, and somehow guys like Smith typically end up with more minutes.

All of our coaches since Murray seem to have trouble giving our most talented players the most minutes. Other teams don't have the same problem, im always looking at the TOI in the boxscores.

Scoring consistently is tough enough in this league, even with top line minutes, but it's that much harder when you are playing as much as a 2nd/3rd liner.

Stop overcoaching and trying to out fox other coaches and worry more about developing long lasting chemistry between core players.

Well then, Bobby Ryan's issue is coaching. You heard it here first, folks.

Smith is having a great game. Ryan's issue is his skating and conditioning.
