Start it at #3, Chabot then White.
Although most agree #3 is Brown its at least debatable unlike 1 and 2.

Hey, I think Freddy Claesson is still eligible, no?

Add Formenton & Perron

THIS x 1000

Wow our prospect pool sucks right now.

DISAGREE x 100

If there's one thing this team does really well, it's drafting.

are we ranking best right now or potential?

My philosophy is "who would you draft first if your strategy was to go BPA"

So you have to evaluate everything at the same time, potential, chance of reaching potential, floor, skillset, etc. And also who is further in development.

One thing I'd put as a very large plus is that the Chlapik pick is looking very good right now. He could get games this season for a cup of coffee and not look out of place.

If you guys want me to add him, I can. I just wasn't sure whether he's still considered a prospect since he's already played 63 NHL games (including playoffs).

I'd vote he is a 99%+ sure roster player so hes graduated. The other guys are still tbd

Brown should be the consensus #3... we have no other prospect with top line/top pair potential let alone #1C potential..

Brown doesn't have top line potential. He was taken 11th overall because he's huge. If he was 6ft1, he'd have went in the 30s. He has never and will never have top line potential.

A likely outcome for Brown is to become a middle 6 player. Nothing wrong with that.
