Give credit where credit is due that was one hell of a save by Askarov

Gives a new meaning to "toe" save...

Literally the 2 edges of the hollow of the toe of the blade there...

And if I did a lunging split like that...

I would be in a wheel chair the rest of My life...

Yup... beauty save...

And Askarov held onto his stick...

*Canada dominates all over the ice all game*

"These Canadians NEED the refs help!!!!!!"

This feels like deja vu. And its the same posters as last time despite their country not playing

They pop up when a penalty is called to Russia.

Do we have to play the finals? There is No point if the reffing level is like this and every whistle favors Canada.

This tournament is big joke with canadian refs
I think the bigger joke is that this is the best team Russia could send.

It was offside. They are changing the rule but rules are rules.

I felt it was originally off-side, hard to catch in the moment, we also didn’t see the Russian along the boards.

another thing, Russia got a lucky bounce on that goal there. So I guess it cancels out.

If it’s not offside and Russia scores on the ensuing pp and wins the game on that ? Tourigny’s career would go down on that..

Even with the rule change it's still offside, his toe is on the ice before the puck crosses the blueline.
