Honestly, I don't think the team was doing a lot of bullshitting around Andersen. Given the comments, it seemed like he was expected back a lot sooner, and there was frustration that he wasn't. Seems like a team doctor probably cleared him to play, the team wanted him to play, but Andersen only plays when he feels 100% ready.

Seems like the only way this will change is the league's betting partners putting pressure on things to be more like the NFL in reporting things. And even they skirt the rules on that as much as possible. Until then, it just is the way it's gonna be.

Agreed, I honestly don't care how truthful they are with reporting injuries. The player will play if he can. Not having a clear time table on his return can admittedly be frustrating but ultimately means very little. It is what it is.

They played Dec 6th in Anaheim (Game ended Dec 7th EST).
From what I can tell, the next practice was Dec 8th and Aho wasn't on the ice for that practice.

I think we can still pretty easily make the playoffs without Aho so not all that concerned. If whatever he has could linger into the playoffs then I'll be very concerned, but as long as he's back before then it's really not a huge deal. Like the bolts learned a few years ago, just worry about getting in and then turn it on.
