I went 'no,' but not a confident no.

Depends on how the scoring is passed around, if the power play can improve, minutes, matchups, his line... It's a lot.

(the actually interesting question is over/under 50. Hell, he could flirt with 40 ES points)

Would people rather Couts score his career high 39 pts again and get a be a selke finalist, or 50 pts?

The question would be better if asking his PPG, not point totals. That way we don't need to see arguments saying he's never scored 40 after scoring 39 in sixty-whatever games.

So I'll say he's above 0.55 PPG this year, aka 45 points per 82 played. For reference, his past two years are 0.62 and 0.51.

An even better question would be: how many more posts will Jtown get in before he takes another one of his surly vacations from the site? I give it three or four dozen more cookie-cutter Couts-related dry heaves before the inevitable cessation of brain vomit.

If Couts stays healthy he'll get 50 points.
He'll have real wingers for an entire season.

Under, but just because I think he may be bumped from the PP and I don't trust the team at even strength yet. Hope I'm wrong.

"Will the player that scored at over a 40 point pace in each of the past 2 seasons score over 40 points this season" would be a better thread title.

If Coots does hit 50 points, which is a more interesting Poll question as Magua mentioned, he may get serious Selke consideration.
