Since the Portland Pirates are no more I say the Savannah mascot is the ghost of Salty Pete
it certainly does.... and the goal horn is an outlawed song/horn, too that many teams have used as well

Many teams use Rock and Roll part 2 as a goal song. It’s only outlawed in the NHL.

If the mascot DUI's his Jeep onto a jersey barrier after leaving the rink, will his license plate say "ARRRRRRR!"? (A Brian Petrovek reference, for those who don't remember.)
Alex Loh departs New Jersey organization to join Vegas organization as the Ghost Pirates inaugural assistant coach; Loh had been leading the Adirondack Thunder as their head coach the past several seasons
He was fired as Adirondack's head coach several months ago, and was not a part of the New Jersey organization currently.

SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Savannah Ghost Pirates, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vegas Golden Knights and the American Hockey League’s Henderson Silver Knights, announced that the team has agreed to terms with goaltender Darion Hanson for the 2022-2023 season. Hanson becomes the first official signing in Ghost Pirates team history.
Hanson joins the Ghost Pirates after posting a 20-15-0 record, with one shutout, a 2.24 goals-against average and a .957 save percentage in his senior season at the University of Connecticut last season while earning a spot on the Hockey East Honorable Mention All-Star Team. ...

I have a fun fact: the Savannah marketing department based this mascot on a real life phenomenon.
It is extremely rare and no video footage exists, but whenever someone Google searches the words "Portland Pirates," Hutch transforms into this, metastasizes through the person's computer, takes over the keyboard, and turns on their caps lock.
