Haven't seen this in awhile! Especially a full week out.

As if a big crowd isn't bad enough for our chances of winning. Thornton will be in net & it's the teddy bear toss.

This game will only end one way & we all know how

5-0 Barrie and they have to throw the bears at the end of the game lmao.

Sarnia should go after one of the Soo's goalies or something.

Now they may go get a backup (Ivanov?)

Yeah, Schenkel won't be traded, so only Ivanov might be made available. Who coincidentally just put up his own 10 spot yesterday, so.....

It's been an incredibly bizarre year for goalies. Almost all the consensus top guys (Gaudreau, Brochu, Leaver, Constantini, Lalonde, Onuska, Thornton) have all been incredibly underwhelming while relative unknowns have been amazing.

This upcoming 3in3 is very important. For a few reasons, but mainly that there's a pretty strong chance we go into the break losing 3or4 in a row with Voit, Pastujov, Vilmanis & Gaudreau (along w/Hoover, Mast & potentially Burke) gone vs FLT FLT PBO ER FLT.

So after losing the last 2 we can't lose 2of3 this week then potentially lose 4of5 or all 5. Gotta at least win the two home games & see what happens up in SAG.

Be interesting to see how the goalies are deployed. I think I'd give Ben FRI&SUN. Get right game for everybody vs OSH. Then obviously in vs BAR. I'd also give Grover a shot but who knows if they wanna do that.

Unfortunately there's a good chance MacDonell will be sspd so that makes it that much harder, especially if Burke is out still. Wonder if Hall gets a chance.

Would love to see Grover get a game this weekend. He needs to get a shot with the way Surzycia has been playing lately. Not sure how you lineup it up though. Gaudreau will for sure start on Saturday but I don't know if the other game he starts will be on Friday or Sunday. It could be Sunday since it's Teddy Bear Toss and a sold out crowd. I get the thinking behind putting him out there on Friday for the reasons you outlined. I guess we'll find out later this week.

League announced suspensions from this past weekend & MacDonell isn't listed. Hopefully that means he didn't get one. Did take till late Wednesday to announce Burke's tho lol.
