Being offside by a centimeter is not a lack of focus.

It's a stupid ass review policy that that completely ignores the purpose of the offsides rule and it's nonsense, put in place because a linesman should have been fired for missing Matt Duchene being offsides by 12 feet.

There's a lot to be bitter about with this team, this dumbass rule isn't one of them. It's the biggest dumbass overreaction in sports next to the NFL's pass interference reviews, which they realized was complete stupidity and quickly removed.

It's a perfect example of something implemented with no thought of the obvious consequences. The idea is to prevent Leon Stickle but in reality 90% of the offside challenges are now made on plays where it would almost be impossible for the human eye to catch it.

Imo it's absolutely a lack of focus to fire a pass horizontally across the blue line and not make any effort to drag your foot. That sequence was Dahlin in a nutshell, beautiful setup for the goal, lackadaisical missing details cancel it out.
