Yeah, moving Griffith to center is so horrible for a little while to keep a playoff team intact in Rochester. Please. The real issue is Botterill’s fear of utilizing waivers to keep the depth in the organization going instead of raiding the Amerks. Now it’s a question of if he’ll even be ready for the first round, and for what?

Yeah I know. It was an exaggeration. But these injuries are absurd. Botterill really should have brought in more depth at forward throughout the season.

If we are able to sign any college UFAs or our own college draft picks...

Am I correct in my understanding that if they sign a pro contract they can’t be with the Amerks in the playoffs? But if they sign an ATO and their contract kicks in next year they can?

Or a more direct way to put it..... how can college free agents or our college draft picks help the situation? aside from playing for us so others can get sent down.
