I had him pegged as biggest bust candidate for the draft, I will eat crow and admit I was wrong. He looked amazing in last nights game

He has a lethal shot. Needs to keep his feet moving and pick up intensity otherwise this will hurt him in NHL. Reminds me of Hoffman.

Looks like Owen Tippett and Ryan Mcleod have both been traded for Saginaw.

I can't believe how much SSM is getting destroyed by Saginaw. I expected a much closer series

I believe Tippett failed to score against the hounds in the regular season. He sees them in round two and says screw that and rattles off 4 goals, 9 points in the first three games of the series.

Broke his 4 game point drought with two primary assists in a 4-3 OTW yesterday.
Tied for 3rd in points (19) and sits alone in 3rd for goals (9) in OHL playoffs.

Tippett is having himself a playoff run!

2nd in points (22) and tied for 1st in goals (11), both behind and with Nick Suzuki.

Feel his NHL floor is: 20-25 g/40-50pts
Feel his NHL ceiling is: 30-35g/60-70pts

I admit that I had doubts when he was drafted, but he’s made huge steps in his game away from the puck and his creativity with and without the puck in the offensive end. Great pick for the Panthers.

I agree. His first couple years in MIS, he wasnt engaged in all 3 zones, just the o-zone. His playmaking has got way better too and he's got that strong lower base so he protects the puck well and is hard to knock off the puck.

He will have a similar style to Kessel and Hoffman imo. Not saying he will be as good as Kessel but if he can become a equal/better version of Hoffman then FLA fans will love the pick even more. His shot if filthy. Unreal release, just needs to work on the one timer a bit more, keep working hard in the gym and continue to improve his skating.

23 points in 28 games during his first year of pro hockey. Second in rookie scoring. Don’t get to watch him, so all I have to go on is box scores, but he’s seemingly having a really nice year. Was a high draft pick not too long ago that no one talks about. Probably because he’s a panther prospect I guess...

Can anyone speak on his game this season who actually watches him? Does he actually look good out there?

Does he figure to start in the NHL next season? I saw a number of games he played this year in the AHL, and was very impressed. His stats, 40 points in 46 games, are also excellent for a 20 year old in the AHL. For a top 10 pick, he's very under-discussed, but I think his game seems to be developing well.
