Not sure he gets much SHL action, though Vaxjo typically isn't a powerhouse, I'd expect he spends more time in SuperElit.

If I would guess what his plans are...

- Play majority of the year in SupeElit (develop his skills).
- Get some experience against men in SHL.
- Have a good enough season and numbers to be drafted.
- Come over to Prince Albert after the 2018 draft.

Depending on how good he is he could skip the PA part and go right to the AHL.

That's what I was thinking too.

Wut? Last 4 seasons:
2014: semifinal loss
2015: Champions
2016: semifinal game 7 ot loss
2017: League Champs, quarterfinal loss

They've been a top team for a while with one of the the largest budgets of any team in Sweden.

Bokk will have to beat out a lot of very talented under 20 players to get any significant SHL time, highly unlikely. So, yes, it's a signing for their juniors.

Has this been confirmed? Any link? He'd get a lot more exposure playing in Canada then in a Sweden jr. League but hey if that's what he'd rather do then hope it works out.

You're right, I don't know who I had in mind when I was writing. Probably Rogle..

The only thing I have is this from the homepage of the German Federation (DEB)

http://www.deb-online.de/2017/07/u20-nationalmannschaft-4-nationen-turnier-in-der-slowakei/

On this roster Växjö is listed as his team. On the preliminary roster a few days before, they had still his old team. That is the extent of my knowledge an information in this matter.

In addition to the DEB's official roster list, I can confirm this via a source in the Växjö organisation.

Is it even confirmed Pettersson and Dahlen will go back to Sweden? From what I understand Dahlen will challenge for an NHL spot.

Pettersson is for sure in Vaxjo. Dahlen will go to training camp and if he doesn't make it (very likely), he might go play with Pettersson

3 points in 3 games so far with Vaxjo in juniors. Good start for him.

Liked what I've seen from him so far. Wonder when he gets the chance in SHL.

He's definitely making his way into the first round for me. Maybe not a top 20 player yet, but could be one of those hidden gems in the 20-30s similar to Sam Steel perhaps.

Very nice goal indeed. I saw this exact type of rush from him multiple times back when he was playing in Germany.
