I remember saying at the peak of the German next wave that a lot of the next gen guys haven't become NHLers yet and let's see how it plays out. Eg. lots of good Czech players from the WJC I thought were also locks to be in the NHL and it just didn't happen.
At the time a lot of people were writing how Bokk, Peterka and Reichel were NHL locks and will join Kahun and Reider in the NHL.
Obviously, Drai, Stutz and Seider have arrived (and all 3 are probably, amazingly, capable of more!).
However, as of now, Bokk, Peterka, Reichel, Kahun and Reider had about 2 nhl points combined last season.
Don't get me wrong... I'm cheering for them and was thrilled when Reider and Kahun signed with my Oil. I hope Reichel becomes an NHL regular this season as I hope the same for Peterka. I hope Bokk makes it back to the NHL too!
