Canada
On a struggling Wheat Kings’ team, Bjarnason often was the lone bright light for the WHL team. Despite posting a measly .900 save percentage and 3.08 GAA over the 47 games played, the poor stats are hard to blame the Canadian netminder for. The Wheat Kings were a significantly better team with him in the net. Without Bjarnason, they only managed to win five games during the season. Their seasonal record was 26-33-9, yet Bjarnason managed to have a 0.500% when he was in the net. In many ways, Bjarnason is the perfect example of not judging a goalie on save percentage or GAA. It’s often team-based stats and doesn’t always reflect the ability of the netminder.

Loved the trades to get the 22 and 51 picks. Followed by a massive amount of shitting the bed....

And we still haf TK and SL on a team that is rebuilding and their first 2 picks are 3-5 years away

Interesting. Very interesting.

I mean I'm not even concerned about where he was ranked, but the fact that they traded a 2nd rounder next to get a 2nd this year for a goalie... I can't imagine that this will ease those who don't want this team to trade Hart.

This is incredibly stupid, and further confirmation that Flahr and all of the scouts need to go.

Might be a canary that Hart is indeed being dealt once cleared? Sandstrom stock falling? Definitely a need/infatuation-based pick.

He's certainly not their only goalie prospect though and Ersson is still young.
