Loyal fans? Or annoying? Jersey throwing, online harassers aren't loyal. They're trash. Don't overrate our fanbase. Stamkos probably took a look and chose a more rationale climate to play in.

We haven't earned this sense of entitlement of "best fans in the world". Look at how hard it is to sign premium UFAs. They don't want to come here. When we have elite athletes like Kessel who sign longterm they get harassed and insulted by our scum media.

They don't come here because the team hasn't made the playoffs in 10 years and we're always up against the cap. This jersey throwing is fairly new and please don't group the real fans with the handful of people who throw jerseys on the ice. You know the real fans can't afford to go the games or have access to tickets. How can you not say that the real fans are loyal? Ask any player what they thought of the scene at Maple Leafs Square they all loved it. Being a Leafs fan is similar to being married, sure we get upset at our spouse or team and sometimes we over react but we will always be a fan of the team.
