Wherever I'm standing atm
Fox isn’t even that good on the PP.
Followed by people showing he's almost tops in the entire league with PP production.

Then. Look at this elite level walking back.

I didn't say he's bad on the PP.

Fox is demonstrably not as good on the PP as DeAngelo was, and thats the main reason the Rangers PP is worse this year.

Fox is tied for 129th in goals on the PP, and 14th in primary assists. Fox leads the league in secondary assists on the PP. Among players in the top 12 of PP points, he's tied for the least primary points.

He has less primary points than every player on the Rangers first PP unit, and he has significantly more total ice time than three of them. He's 12th in the league in total PP time.
It's a total coincidence that he picks up secondary assists. Not at all a sign that he helps setup countless scoring chances. Nope. He's just lucky.

Also suddenly PB claims he originally was talking about Fox compared to ADA even though we can all see what he originally posted and it's clearly just a shot at Fox's overall PP abilities being "not that good".

Now a lesser man might realize how utterly dishonest he's being, recognize he's caught speaking on something he lacks understanding of and move on. But not our hero! In fact, rather than acknowledge the obvious lies and poor analytical abilities he's just shown off, he instead claims the real reason people are on him is because

They know this, and are just petty people. There's a reason I don't see their posts.

What if you just stopped pretending to know things you clearly don't, tried being honest and stopped playing games? You're good at posting stats other people collected and videos other people posted to twitter. Why not just stay in what is a fairly helpful lane and keep posting those since you've proven for years you can't get into the analysis department?

That'll be the day

Wake me up when that happens

Honestly the Rangers are so top heavy anything they can do to improve that 2nd PP unit is going to be a welcome addition. Nils probably starts off on PP2 as a rookie, and if he moves up that isn’t exactly bad news.
The only thing that is going to help the #2 PP unit get better is the opposition figuring out how to clear the zone when the first unit is on. Lately, there is no second PP unit. The first one either scores or keeps the puck in the zone for nearly the whole 2 minutes.

Dennis Beyak made the easy mistake of calling him Henrik Lundqvist. Many NHL commentators will make that mistake next season. Beyak is getting a head start.

A Jones-Lundkvist bottom pairing as opposed to Hajek-Smith is the difference between 5th place and 4th place or better for the Rangers.

Yeah I know...just seemed like a possible trade chip for Rangers.
He could definitely be a valuable trade chip for the Rangers because he has high end upside and has already demonstrated great results and skill in a top end men's league and during limited play at the WC's. He is just starting and is cost controlled for a number of years, so if you believe in him he should be worth a lot and I think the Rangers would need a great return to even consider trading him. In a salary cap league this type of player is extremely valuable, not to mention he is a right shot dman who has a shot that could be one of the best. His floor is 2nd pairing dman on 2nd powerplay. His upside is top 5 scoring dman and possible top pair, but would need to gain plenty of strength; although Jared Spurgeon is a similar stature and is top pair on a very good Minnesota team with a number of really good dmen. As much as people think the Rangers need more grit or toughness, the NHL has changed a lot and (even small) mobile dmen who can play defense and offense are one of the most sought after players in the game.

He is so much more than just a trade chip.

Taken from dobberhockey:

The Rangers have signed blue-chip prospect Nils Lundkvist to a three-year contract. The AAV works out to be $1.775 million, which is fairly high. That should signal that the Rangers value him highly, and so should you in keeper leagues. For more on Lundkvist, see his profile on Dobber Prospects.
