well yeah, i think most of us weren't even alive while he was still playing. But I think any real NYR fan should at least know who he is.

As someone who started watching hockey in the early 1990s, growing up in Europe, and not having Ranger fans to talk to for the first 10-15 years, I have to say that I don't really have any feelings towards Ratelle.

He's just another former player to me. I know this is weird to hear for people who grew up with parents who are Ranger fans, or neighbours who told you about the teams from the 60s and 70s, but all I know about Ratelle is what I read online. I never saw him play, not even highlights.

Hell, I am still searching for games 1 through 5 of the 1994 ECF because I never watched the full games.

Pretty sure I still have them on VHS, I recorded every game back then, and when they won, I kept the ECF, SC, and Parade. LOL
