What is wrong with those toughts? They are small countries as hockey countries and small country cant win - in hockey or in any other thing - if it respects it's enemies too much or even worse, fears to battle their best with them.
They have the right attitude, they haveto keep developing and believing themselves every time they go against so called "elite hockey country" team they go for beating them up. What the hell should they think, should they be like "We never can be that good, lets not even try to play our best game".
Its a long way to the top, but not impossible. Finland was like swiss somewhere in 60-70's, and it has slowly catch up everyone and now it can win any country in best of best game and not only with trap defence. Finland is going to continue its work and develop in system and maybe after next 20 years take a place with Canada Russia And Sweden on the best elite. I dont count USA as good as top 3 that fast, as Finland wasn't count there back in 2000's when we finnished silver in best of best World Cup 2004 and Turin 2006. We can allready win them (top3), but we do not produce that wide scale of super quality players than them. Ofcourse we just have 5million people here so it kidn of affects it, when Canada and USA have sooo much more. We are doing pretty good but swedes have shown that with low popularity you can still do it. We have shown we have giftness, and should have atleast as much of giftness as they as we once were one.
If swiss and couple others here are willing and trying, i think there is a good change they can go true the same way of development and in future be a true hockey power. Comments what they put are right, what else attitude could they have if they once want to win?

But its nonsense to call Swiss league as good as NHL or on par. That isnt a bad league thougt.. And they cant say they are allready as good as Canada or top seven, and they shouldnt think that if they want to evolve. But they shall believe they can beat top 7 countries and win by win and player by player they'll make their way to the top..
