Coheed and Cambria

1a. No World for Tomorrow - 5/5
1b. Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV vol I - 5/5

2. In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 - 4.5/5

3. Year of the Black Rainbow - 4/5

4. Second Stage Turbine Blade - 4/5

5. The Afterman: Descension - 4/5

6. The Afterman: Ascension - 3.5/5

I'm going to be murdered for putting Year of the Black Rainbow so high but I really enjoyed that album. I know a lot of fellow Coheed fans saw it as a weak album but I thought it was great.

I also rank YotBR highly :). That said, I don't rank Good Apollo Vol. 1 as high. I'd probably go:

In Keeping Secrets 3 - 10/10
Afterman: Ascension - 9/10
No World For Tomorrow - 9/10
Year of the Black Rainbow - 8.5/10
Afterman: Descension - 8.5/10
Second Stage Turbine - 8/10
Good Apollo Vol. 1 - 7.5/10

Second Stage is as good as anything they put out, imo. That album kicks ****ing ass right from the start and doesn't stop. Every single song is great. God Send Conspirator is really underrated.

1A. Second Stage Turbine Blade
1B. In Keeping Secrets
2. Good Apollo 1
3. Good Apollo 2
4. Afterman
5. Year of the Black Rainbow

Chevelle:

1) Sci-Fi Crimes
2) Vena Sera
3) Wonder What's Next
4) Hats Off to the Bull
5) La Gárgola
6) This Type of Thinking
7) Point #1

I'd bump This Type of Thinking to 3 and every thing just moves down after that. That's just my opinion. Pretty good rankings, though. :)

Metallica:

...And Justice for All
Ride the Lightning
Death Magnetic
Load

Kill 'em All
Master of Puppets
Black Album
St. Anger
Reload

After Load, they're pretty much interchangeable for me.

:amazed:

Complete forgot about it, good catch.

FWIW I put it slightly below '77 on my list, but the gap in quality between my top 6 choices is small. Don't get me wrong - I enjoy Little Creatures ,Naked, & True Stories- but I'd put them tier 1b.
