Got to be Garand. He’s still on the developmental path as eventual starter in the NHL and noone else is projected to a position just as high.

Syky. Add BMB.

I'm holding out hope that BMB comes back soon and picks up where he left off. Edstrom & Fortescue close behind. We have a good cluster of 3rd+ rounders playing well, so there aren't many bad adds for a few rounds.

Sykora seems to have the best shot at becoming a viable middle 6 forward getting 12-14 mins of ES and 2 mins of PK time per game

I would add BMB. For me Edstrom is right after him and it's about upside. Really like Edstrom but he's a bottom 6'er....probably a very good one though. Not a sure thing but BMB has the potential to be a 2nd line guy some day. Edstrom is a lot closer though.

Kinda surprised to see Berard with votes over Sykora. Sykora is basically a younger, better version of Berard with more size and IMO has a much higher chance of making the NHL.

I've only seen Berard play in 10-ish games, and like 7 of those were at the WJC, but based on how the board evaluates him in general, I'm pretty sure my sample has been on the weak side of his performances.

Because I'm not sure I've ever come away with the impression that I was watching a player that was even remotely of Sykora's calibre.

Last WJC I assume? He was awful, first WJC many people considered him the biggest surprise of the tournament whilst being the youngest player there other than Beniers. He looked like Jack Hughes with the attitude of Matthew Tkachuk. He is the only player in our entire system who I’d say is an elite skater
