Quick q: is EJ comparable to Phaneuf?

For what it's worth when talking to Pierre McGuire from TSN at the draft, I asked him who his monster was, he repeatedly said Erik Johnson.

McGuire said that he is comparable to Phaneuf in many ways, and is as good as he was/is.

Take it for what it's worth.

EJ is the better skater.
