Looks like it is the opening night lineup with a tweek or two. I wonder if Werenski-Jones will stick as a pair and get the toughest minutes or if Murray gets back with Jones.

Hope we play well enough to gain some confidence going into opening night. With this lineup, we should.

Has that look. But I see he split Jones and Murray.

Wasn't that the case to open the Bruins game?

Tweaks we think should happen or tweaks were think are going to happen?

This. But wasn't this the same lineup to open the Bruins game?

Gagner as 2c is not exactly inspiring confidence.

We've seen people point out that it's more about appropriate groupings than traditional numbering of lines all summer. I think it still holds. I guess we'll see based on ice time.

I missed the Bruins game so I'm not entirely sure what we trotted out for that game. Was busy watching a terrible movie called "The Girl on the Train" :shakehead

So did Nutivaara make the team or are they cutting one more d-man after this game?

They're cutting one more Dman, its either going to be him or Harrington. In all likelihood Nutivaara makes the team until Goloubef is healthy.

DSL- Tweaks that Torts will make. I like Wennberg and Bjork together.
There are many forward combinations that work.

I honestly really like those D pairings. Putting Murray with Savard allows Savard to be more aggressive in the offensive zone knowing Murray should be able to cover his mistakes.

I thought Saad and Wennberg had such great chemistry, why did they separate those two? And why is Wennberg on the third line?
