John Mitchell is not eligible as far as I know. I could be wrong but my understanding was he has one year NCAA remaining and while it was speculated he may leave a year early to sign with an NHL team he has not signed with any team to date.

Believe me I had him on my radar but did not belive he was UFA eligible for the aforementioned reasons.

I agree as well, I made a mistake. I posted above pointing this out already. I got my John Mitchell's mixed up when it came to which was signed by who in the NHL and assumed it was the college player who was now Toronto property.
