Hey Hasnain, you might have to review my offers on these players. I've never heard of Dovgan or Daulten, so I definitely didn't sign them.

Edit: I can't believe I didn't figure it out, but Daulten is obviously Matt Dalton, so this would have been correct.

I don't know why I have problem with your speadsheet...anyway both of these players have 2nd offer from Phx and NYR...I don't want to go over all 30 emails to search for thses players and contract ...so if anyone has offered a contract to these player than let me know otherwise thet will sign with the 2nd best contract.

Thanks

This might be alittle off.. Phoenix asked for a max of 4 players from the "Prospects list" I acquired 5.. and 3 of my top guys (Bozek, Ambuhl and Mashinter) are still in play... Nagy and Dovgan are the lowest on my list.. if i am not in play for Bozek or Mashinter i'll keep Dovgan but Nagy should go back into the pool as he was my 5th guy.

MItchell is the Wisconsin forward, not certain he's left college yet, but it's not the Leafs player.

You're right....I messed up this one. I knew there was two John Mitchell's, and that one was property of the Devils in the HFNHL (drafted by Toronto of the NHL), but I guess when researching whether the college player had signed I got them mixed up again. He doesn't appear eligible to be signed this year as I don't see any indication that he has signed a NHL deal.

Alright, thanks.. with that in mind since these are UFA's and were signed on the open market are they open to trading asap? I'll be fairly close limit so guys like Dovgan and Nagy may need to move to a new place if there's interest..

Justin DiBenedetto $650,000 3 Years Colorado

FYI, I know I made the same mistake in offering Justin a (very similar) contract, but it turns out he's already a signed player in the HFNHL, with the Coyotes. That had to have been a mistake last season (he shouldn't have been eligible), but since it wasn't caught then, I think the existing contract has to stand, which means he remains Phoenix property.

Justin DiBenedetto is a 1988 birthdate.. this was his overage season..

CHL players entering their overage season are eligible to be signed as well as players who just completed their overage season..

Which means 1989 is the eligibility age for CHL players this year

DiBo was signed legitimately as a player entering their overage season during last years free agency.

John Mitchell is not eligible as far as I know. I could be wrong but my understanding was he has one year NCAA remaining and while it was speculated he may leave a year early to sign with an NHL team he has not signed with any team to date.

Believe me I had him on my radar but did not belive he was UFA eligible for the aforementioned reasons.

Seconded.

And teams were supposed to post links to any player coming out of the NCAA's or from Europe to prove that they have signed. I know that Hasnain processed some offers as legitimate despite the fact that links were not provided. Given the amount of work, and the timely manner in which it's done, some people need to give some extra props to Hasnain for his kindness on this matter.

Technically, CHL and NCAA grads need not have signed, they just need to have graduated. Greg Flynn, the two-way defenceman form Air Force, is an example. Unfortunately, I as outbid...

This is true, I was speaking of course of players leaving NCAA early and Euros.
