No difference to me if I’m McDavid.

I’d take any other pairing with an actual star defenseman over a pairing with 2 mediocre top guys who were only top guys because their team didn’t have a true star defender.

Top 25-30 at best.

Offensively, yes. They would probably end the season -70 though.

How do you deke through Darnel Nurse?
That's not something that's known to happen to Nurse.
He's an amazing skater whether going forwards or backwards.

As for Jones/Nurse... 5 years ago I would have said they'd turn out to be #1, but I'm thinking top 5.
