Trotz said the other day they already had goalies settled. Saros and Lankinnen in Nashville, Askarov and Groesek in Milwaukee, other guys in ECHL or some other league. Saros has already played in a couple, he will probably be in for parts of the last two.

Rest of the guys they will start trying to settle out who will be in the lineup, bench guys vs who starts in the AHL.

For the lines, im assuming

Forsberg - ror - Parssinen
Tomasino - novak - Evangelista
Sherwood - svechkov - kemell
Trenin - sissons - Afanasyev

Afanasyev and sherwood probably interchangeable. Put the players presumably going down to MIL together and those staying in the NHL together.

Don't hate the idea of going back to Sherwood - Novak - Evangelista.

Also, interesting that they've bumped Kemell up to the 2nd line while demoting Tomasino all the way to the 4th, even though the latter supposedly had a good scrimmage.

How is it neutering if Defensive forward handles the defensive responsibility. Leaving Forsberg and O'Reilly to sell out offensively

One might look at it as "freeing him up" to do offensive things, since the center is minding defensive responsibilities? Forsberg would then get feeds from Josi primarily.

I don't think any of our guys have been able to handle Point/Kucherov whenever they are out. Fair enough!

I don't hate the new high-breakout system. We're coming in to the offensive zone with some speed and attack.

Man it's been a while since we've seen these long passes. Definitely feels like the goal is to push forward quickly, just not the chemistry yet.
