It's pretty safe to say, that Canada is gonna destroy Switzerland in this one.
I'm hoping the goal difference isn't any higher than 5 goals...

I want Canada to win big (I am Canadian) but not too big (it is no fun to watch).

You can say that if you consider losing 7-3 close. With that being said, I hope the Swiss give Canada a good game like they did in the 1st period of last year's meeting.

Huberdeau - Scheifele - Smith-Pelly
Schwartz - F Hamilton - Stone
Howden - Bournival - Gallagher
Pearson - Jenner - Connolly
Strome

Youbeardoe expected to play, Howden is a bit more questionable

Right, all the while being heavily outshot. Not to mention at least one of those goals was off a Gibson gaffe in front.

Swiss plays Canada hard but can't keep up the pace for 60 minutes.

Canada wins a tight one 5-3.

Swiss score 2 on the power play and 1 off a deflection.

The Swiss ace up their sleeve the last cpl years was their goalie (Bunz?) standing on his head for a cpl games, I suspect the Swiss will keep the game close with greatest difference being 3 goals.
IMHO...it's good test for Canada and allows them to battle through a trap team.

I think you mean Conz, seems like he was their keeper forever

TSN has a different proposed lineup than the OP.

Also said Huberdeau and Howden are expected to play, barring setbacks during game day skate.

Why not 111-1?

Good question Mr. Edwards. Anyway, as a Canadian fan I am hoping for goaltending that does not scare me going into the tournament and that Huberdeau looks good. I predict something like 7-1 for Canada tonight.
