Can you change substitution settings for the third guy on the depth chart in basketball? Currently, it looks like you can only set when the first substitute will come into the game. Can we do that for the second substitute at that position?

That's not at all what I said! It would simply be part of the reward package!

cool

I didnt say you said that but had impression they had seen it as a new way to make money as for example pay a few credits to paint arena, add nickname, upload assistant and stuff ....

I think i got the impression when Emerald76 suggested for example "1000 credits"

they could see it as an opportunity to offer the feature for much less and end up with too many managers having it and eliminating the real cool factor of the biggest supporters.

1000 credits is still a lot but should reward something different..

i think there are many ways to reward "spenders"

as change the way NT managers choose the arenas. let the arena be of the one that paid the most subscription for that sport.

or .... have the biggest supporter to upload the paint of NT arena

In the arenas for example .. there are sponsors we cannot change. Let then change it.. for example, for each 500 credits spent, the manager can change one sponsor banner.

there are many tons of possibilities to reward people and motivate then to spend just for the "cool" aspect and distinguish the biggest supporters to the average and non supporters one.

could have some sort of badges that would be attached to the team's name ...

a couple of hours of brainstorming and there could be tons of ideas.

Snap, I'm 10M short from having 1B income this hockey season. Oh well, the first few sales on Sunday should help me reach this number :handclap: Only 300M more to collect for facilities then i'm off to saving for prospects

It was just an idea I threw around in here to be honest.

But if you have ideas, send them Vlady or Ivans way.

I got SUUUUPER lucky in soccer this morning. I started construction on my HR last week a day before one of my mids went RFA without thinking. Add to that the last payment on my end-of-season loan to build a max triple came in on Saturday and I was in the negative until this morning. I had been dreading the offers, but he only wanted $700,000 to stay with me. :handclap: This will leave me with cash for my impending forward who will go RFA very soon. After that, I can continue to save for my next max triple. I got soooo lucky this morning.

its not what you said . or canucks said .. it was the perception I had ...

The manager spends 10,000 (must be top 1% spender for sure) then you mention idea of 1000, then ppm thinks .. humm nice idea we can have it for 100 credits and we can make some good money

I was just saying Id be disapointed if the ideas were used to provide more money other than reward those top loyal managers.

and as far as talking to Vad, I'dd rather let canucks handle it. it is better to have a main contact then a bunch of people throwing ideas to Vlad as he would have no time to do anything other than reading messsages.

and besides, canucks does a great job :)

any news on when there will be u18 and u21 (or whatever age it might be) for handball?

I would assume it'll be at least season 8 before they are implemented. Gotta wait for the majority of national team players to be over 21...

Best to send them my way first. One of my jobs as a captain is a communication conduit between community and developers - especially that of the national communities I oversee.

Yep, through you man!

Lost my road game today in the league, but I'm conserving alot of energy compared to most teams in my league who are going gung-ho from the off.

Only time will tell if my strategy pays off.

With the change in day-1 OR of players, I can't see too many teams being in good shape mid-season let alone come playoffs. I want to get a good lead then I'll dial back to L or VL since half my conference will likely go inactive soon anyway.

I forgot how terrible scouting was in the beginning. My HR upgrade finishes and suddenly everyone's Qs change by 40%. Guys I had labeled as PFs are now Cs and vice versa. My anticipated #1 and #2 in various positions switch as well.

Thankfully, it only takes forever to scout them.

Also, I did a quick check of all the 15 year olds in I.1, their heights are 167, 176, 184, 186, 187, 188, 189, 195. I'm assuming this means these guys can still grow up to 15 inches or so.

I'm going the same route. Looks like we'll have a couple I.1 leagues to compare from. Also, thanks for the threads, man. My bball team is lookin' sharp! :yo:

Circling back to the game importance, I only lost by 4 points today playing N to my opponent's VH. Oddly, this exposed a ridiculous flaw in my current tactics that I managed to overlook. I hung with him the entire game, never trailing by more than 5 points. This caused my game importance settings to never trigger (among other things), so my players didn't give it any more in the 4th when we were trailing. I never accounted for games that were incredibly close all 40 minutes in tactics. Time to adjust that...

Question on player distribution in bball for everyone, though. Were everyone's top 5 OR players evenly distributed to make up their starting roster, or did I get REALLY luck? Literally my top 5 by OR filled out PG, SG, SF, PF, and C perfectly.
For reference, my starting OR distribution:
300+ = 1 (320)
280-299= 2 (280, 292)
260-279 = 5 (263, 273, 274, 276, 278)
240-259 = 3 (245, 253, 254)
220-239 = 4 (226, 233, 234, 236)

I had no such luck. My top guys overlap positions and my two worst players are PGs.

BOOOO!

Promoted from II.3, finished 7th in I.1 and my MS took a 20M/year pay cut despite going from 3*-->5*.

Looks like my general sponsor is going to take a 45M/season hit as well.

How does one lose sponsor contributions when going from div2 right into I.1 playoffs!?!?!?!

280-299= 1 (285)
260-279 = 6 (277, 265, 260, 274, 274,377)
240-259 = 5 (247, 250, 242, 257, 259)
220-239 = 3 (234, 239, 234)

All are distributed evenly across all positions. I am weakest in SG with a 260,247,239 Strongest in SF with a 285,274,250

300+ = 2 [320, 301]
280-299= 3 [295, 284, 287 (sold)]
260-279 = 5 [275, 275, 271, 268, 266]
240-259 = 2 [257, 247]
200-239 = 2 [231, 209]

Top 5 players are 5 different positions, both before and after the sale. It's not the strongest team, but it will be enough for my division IV league with one other active team. :)

I accepted a 5* basic General Offer and a 5* Media Offer in hockey. I could have taken a 5* Position-based general offer, but where I was projecting to finish, I'd have to hit all 5 marks to make more and it wasn't worth the risk.

In reviewing my finances, I noticed that my biggest source of income this season was from ticket sales. It edged out my General Sponsorship by about $33 million. If it stays the same, it will edge out my general sponsorship by about $16 million this coming season. I love my arena. :D

Yep, I'm hoping by the halfway point I can dominate in the remainder of the games for a strong finish. Also, I think I'll be aiming high in the NT if and when I get through the early rounds.

As for the threads, no problem!! :yo:
I've updated my own threads based on the templates you sent Cory, nice one dude!

~

My basketball squad is quite good at the top end, but 4 overlap the same positions.

My top line ratings are:
PG: 18
SG: 22
SF: 22
PF: 19
C: 15

My 2nd line ratings are:
PG: 18
SG: 21
SF: 21
PF: 16
C: 12

I have riches in the SG & SF positions, but by far I'm weakest in the PF & C roles despite having 5 players 300+ OR!

I've always like those Seattle jerseys. The mesh adds some nice detail to them. Lookin' good, man!

My top line ratings:
PG: 19

SF: 21
PF: 20
C: 17

My 2nd line:
PG: 16
SG: 16
SF: 17
PF: 15
C: 14

Basically, I'm fairly evenly distributed, but my backup SF is as good as my starting C. C is by far my weakest position overall.
