PowerPlayManager #10 - Basketball starts in 6 months?

I thought it was after since you're allowed 10 in 112 days where as on day 112 those 10 are still there and counting and on day 113 they have been swept off. No?

On the 112th day of Christmas.....

Pretty sure the fees get reset on day 112 and not 113. As a PRO pack owner you can see in your transfer list how many days ago you sold certain player, the number goes to '111', then it's ' - ' .

Posted a handball player for sale. He's nothing special but could be more valuable than you think. I keep one player on the bench who is only trained in shooting and only takes 7m throws. It is a smart strategy as the difference between 85% on 7m throws and 70% is sizeable over the course of a season. If you can use a pure-7m thrower... you should be able to get GUYS LIKE THIS for quite cheap. Think about it

Why? I've seen them go for more than 100k. Truth is, they're more useful than most 250 OR guys anymore . You may be right, but I suspect there'll be at least a few bids. Especially if I advertise in my status

Not a terrible idea, but is shooting the only stat effects 7m throws or does the ratio to field position/technique come into play and negate growth beyond a certain point?

I just placed a couple of handball players on the market. If anybody here is interested:

Primoz Zanoskar - He's sort of a beast. 314 OR left winger, five of his qualities are above 90.

Al Case - Another solid left winger. 301 OR.

Primoz Zanoskar (67/96/94/64/94/95/97/66) is amazing player..... Will resist, too bad about the 4/6. I think you will double what you paid for him at least. But my next 50m has been claimed by TF11 (11 days ) and RF10 (46 days).

I was looking back at our first PPM thread here on HF Boards. Kinda funny to see the 30-something primary guys we were jacked about having on our top line (looking at you tujague)!

Got the 2-0 win in the CWCvs the AWOL High Headerz. I would have liked more goals so I could play the backups in game two, but at least I didn't give up a goal to the road. Now I just need to score a goal in the road contest and not give up 4 goals. That seems easy enough with McCready coming back.

well, you have to understand where I was coming from. In hockey arena, a great youth pull at the beginning of your career was 17 years old and had 30 total AI (OR). So a 30 OR primary is amazing!

I was laughing at some of my posts too. Can you believe I organized tournaments by hand at one point using days of the week we played friendlies? What a nightmare!!! The sad thing is: I don't think anyone but myself is still around from that time.

I was (very) surprised by my team's performance today in the ChL semi's against Arlington. I gave up a road goal, but managed to counter with six(!) goals of my own. Tag had 4 assists and Young and Bragg each scored twice.

Hmm, I was thinking about training a 7m specialist, but after comparing your stats with my best back, now I'm not so sure. He trains shooting at 67% of primary, and scores 81% of his shots, both last season and this season. Maybe FiP is actually factored into 7m shooting somewhat? He's only got 15 exp, so I don't think that's enough to help out much yet.

I don't know to be honest. I don't have much in the form of anyone besides GKs so I'll take my changes on this. Heck, he only needs one atty... not like the 25AQ other guys who need to train 7

That's twice in a row that you've done that to him!?! Those were both beatdowns of epic proportions. Those results are pretty rare versus the scrubs of the league. Hell, 11-2 in two games would not be an unexpected result vs a daggered team. You know all those whiny *****es who constantly complain about their stupid loses? I think willmott might be the first person to ever have a good reason to suspect something is up

Nah, I'm (hopefully) about to buy a good goalie. I was going for a 350, 90% Canadian pivot yesterday, but he sold for like 130 million.

I'll be out of cash after my facility upgrade party in a couple of weeks.

Why revoke the team? It takes nothing to run an extra franchise. Especially if you don't care about it. Just look at my hockey team

That sounds ominous. But I wasn't really referring to this game. End of the season games are different. I meant playing you or the Coronas on the road is almost a guaranteed loss. So at any other point in the season, I probably wouldn't burn the energy in your stadium.

I'll post his scouted Q's when I get them tonight so you all can chime in on how you'd train him.

Oooo bummer on the 5/6. I hate when star prospects roll in as 5/6. Gah! Hopefully he stays longer than 16 5/6. You get him to 18 5/6 he may fetch a good buck. 17 4/6 is a death sentence though.

tujague, remind me to ask what you get for your soccer sponsor offers. Our OTR and league level + position is nearly identical. It'll be interesting to see the difference in nation.
