Show me the last time BGL got an instigator penalty?

He was a useless enforcer, he followed Lucic around asking him nicely to fight. If he was a good enforcer he would have jumped Lucic, regardless if Lucic said yes or not.

Never said he was a good enforcer, but the B's were always extremely prim and proper when he was around, it was hilarious. That's why I insinuated that all the 'tough guys' on the Bruins are pretty cowardly, but one of your fellow Bruins posters corrected me, and he was right to do so, because Shawn Thornton fought BGL, and thus, isn't a coward or a hypocrite. So I guess I'm just insinuating that the rest of the 'tough guys' on the B's are spot-pickers at best.

Not talking about any of the guys that don't fight, btw, just the ones that pretend to be tough, but only when they have the upper hand.

See I highly doubt anyone from the Bruins were afraid of BGL. They did not fight him because they would lose, but they knew he was not going to fight them without written permission, preferably in cursive.

Chara also fought Laraque, just not when he was with the Habs. That's 2 Bruins heavies who could have taken him on, but what was the point? No coach is going to send a Norris winner against a 4th liner in an important game.

this was the most dramatic and decisive fight of the game in terms of finality. the most even match-up of the night, with both participants being non-fighters. kudos to pouliot for holding back and showing mercy while krejci was down.

krejci wanted to go since he repeatedly was shoving pouliot to start it all off. i know emotions take over but, in retrospect, not a smart team move on krejci's part considering savard is gone and he'll have to shoulder alot of the burden.

Put'n on the foil!
How isn't it? Krejci is out cold when he drops...thats why his knees buckled and he went down. He was up before he went back down.

KO doesn't mean you're out cold on the ice for 45 minutes. I've been punched so hard I am out cold and drop, but by the time I hit the ice I'm awake again. You ask Krejci and I guarantee he tells you Pouliot knocked him out.

Hey,somebody else actually watched it too? Thanks for trying to clarify.

PK's wrists are to small to fight, but, his mouth is huge so he's stuck running it and not backing it up.

Gotta love the bitterness in the post, its practically dripping off the screen.

it would be funny at least if any of it were it true.........

I love how the Bruins finally grew some cajones now that Montreal doesn't have a real fighter. When the Habs had Laraque, the Bruins were the most mild-mannered group of gentlemen. So brave!

Spot-picking at its finest.

after reading a bunch of your posts, i have to ask, in all seriouness, do you really beleive the crap you spew?

Habs fans love torturing Bruins fans for some reason. Hence this thread having 260 replies.

The Night Lucic beat the Crap out of Komisarek was Laraque in the line up? I think the answer is yes.
Which ones pretend to be tough?

Brickley is the least homerest announcer I've ever heard.

He used to be not a homer at all, now he's wicked annoying. Complaining about every penalty call against the Bruins, etc. Although it's probably not his fault. I wouldn't be surprised if NESN said something to him like "You're sounding too fair. Homer it up, Brick!"

Subban terrorizes the Bruins!

I don't know why Bruins fans think he should fight. We can clearly see that he isn't very good at it. Should he voluntarily take a whooping every time he's asked?

Having said that, if he ever does fight and heaven forbid..wins against a Bruins player, they might as well fold the franchise. Much like Montreal was toast for a year when Lucic destroyed Komi's career, PK winning a fight may destroy Boston's ever present fragile psyche when it comes to playing Montreal. Bah, it'll never happen.

I remember BGL being put on the 1st line just to keep Chara and Lucic in place.;)
