I think it is safe to say that many of us have a back log of games that we own but have yet to play or that we have started but never finished and would like to go back and complete one day. What does your backlog look like?

Last year, I felt too overwhelmed that I had given up on my backlog.

My friend then suggested a group, that she was in, called Backlog Assassins, and it has helped me a -lot-.

I made a >profile there< , and this year I made a lot of progress on mister backlog!

It's a really neat community. Your games are all color coded (unplayed, unfinished, finished, etc), and you have a neat color chart on your profile. You can make custom lists to further divide your games. And people make blog-like posts about games they beat, monthly wrap-ups - and others comment/encourage on them.

There are monthly themes to help you pick games if you want, or events where members challenge another, giveaways to win games, etc.

My backlog is scary huge, but I've narrowed it down to about ~85 games I actually want to try.

Backlog vs games I would like to play is very different to me. I have well over a thousand games I will never touch but games I would like to conclude is pretty small. The Lego games just because my son and I enjoy them when he comes to visit, the Telltale games I will get to eventually, Dishonoured2 (halfway through but will probably start over at some point), ME:A (if I can get Steam controller working properly for it), A couple Assasins Creed games, Divinity Original Sin2 and perhaps 2 or 3 others I am not thinking of right now. Beyond that I do not care about most of my library and most will go unplayed because for the most part all the 'bundles' are just garbage and, yeah I did buy a few probably to say I had 'lot's of games', but not for a while now and probably never again.

Just Cause 3(about halfway through)
Everybody's Golf(played for a couple of days and then stopped. Will definitely get back into it at some point).

That's pretty much it. I just generally don't enjoy very many games. I start a lot and then quit because I get bored. It's tough for me to get through an entire game.

mainly the Dark Souls games. i've really been wanting to get into them because i loved Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 1 ...but just keep putting it off. gotta try harder.
