Since the trade Letestu is
1-1-2 -1 in 12 games

Aberg is

If he can keep this up I’ll have time for him in the bottom 6 next year.

Last season the announcers pronounced his name as Ah-Berg and then for this season he asked then to start pronouncing it Ay-Berg, or now that he's in Canada is it Eh-Berg?

So you kind of have to just go with what the player says it is rather than what it should be. If he tells the broadcast crew to pronounce it Purple then that would be the correct pronunciation, no matter how wrong it actually is.

Anyway, I'm very glad to see him showing some of his potential for the Oilers. I wish it worked out in Nashville, but it looked like that just wasn't happening.

It's closer to O-berg. O as in Bobby Orr, except Oberg. English people just can't prounouce Å

Starting to get some wheels under him and looking faster on the ice. I like this pickup, still think we got a player here.

Any consideration for Marcus Granlund of the Canucks riding shotgun to Draisaitl? Te Canucks may have to many forwards. Granlund played well with the sedins putting up 19 goals last year before being shut down for the year. The guy is a good penalty killer too.

I haven't been overly impressed by him in the games I've watched, but at minimum, he will provide some competition in training camp, and scoring in the AHL.

I have time for Granlund. Always seemed decent when I watch Vancouver.

The drop off in production is odd though.

Aberg reminds me of Todd Marchant, if he becomes a similar type of player that would be good for us.

He now has the same amount of goals and assists (2+6) in 11 games for Edmonton as in 37 games for Nashville.. Good to see!

What I like about him is he shoots from anywhere and in any situation and it's not a muffin shot either
