Florida will make the playoffs IMO.

They pretty much have one goalie right now. Not sure if that's sustainable for the rest of the season.

Honestly, I think they could get away with losing to TO. Realistically TO is a very good team and tends to play NYI well. CBJ and Buf back-to-back are musts.

I'm also thinking that Carolina may be the desired opponent. I didn't know Svech was out indefinitely and their goaltending isn't healthy.

An Isles sweep of Toronto, CBJ, and Buffalo would do wonders for securing the 7th seed.

Add to that Florida plays the second of a back to back tomorrow night and has tough opponents this weekend. Hell, they could lose the next 3.

And Penguins are facing Colorado and Dallas this week and then a desperate Caps team.

Best case - Florida and Pens lose every game this week and Isles win the next 3.

will go down to the wire. It comes down to how the Isles do in the 5 game stretch, NJ, Caps, Tampa, Carolina, Tampa. We need six points there. Tiebreaker is in our favor LGI

Not really surprised, the Pens have been pretty unlucky in some of their recent games. Also, we see time and time again over recent years how everyone counts them out and then they go on a long tear.
