He was also completely lost in the goal and just totally missed that there was a west ham player out wide. No real reason for him to be tucked in tight to the CBs when Rice has the ball 50 yards from goal basically standing still.

Legitimately Arsenal would be better without him on the pitch because other players would know they have to cover that space as opposed to assuming the fullback will cover it and routinely being wrong because he’s awful in coverage.
