Someone tell our guys the game started 36 minutes ago! One team is running, the other is watching.

Cedric is getting schooled by Zaha.

Missing Tierney and Tomiyasu hurts the back end for sure. Still no excuse though.

I think it's a perfectly valid excuse. Their team isn't so good they can just soak up injury after injury. Shit even Liverpool can't, we lost 30 points from that last season.

Both mistakes by Tavares have been costly but we’ve played the first half like we didn’t have a care in the world while Palace have been playing like they’re fighting for their lives… end result, 2-0 Palace.

The inability to step up for important games falls on Arteta. Very poor prep work to get his guys going.

Tavares played so badly in the first half that it shouldn't matter who you have on the depth chart behind him, he should be benched. It wasn't like the errors were just technical or something like that, they were purely effort based.

He chose to just duck out of the way of the cross and hope maybe Gabriel would get it on the first goal.

On the second goal he just assumed Gabriel would make the assumption and decided to stand still which gave Ayew acres of space once he got the pass.

Garbage play from a player who shouldn’t be there in the first place. That’s what happens when you have mediocre depth and are stuck playing guys who aren’t good enough in important matches.

Too bad for them because it sounds like Tierney's season might be over.

Referee needs to decide if dragging/pushing someone down is a foul or not.

If it is, the first goal shouldn't have stood and Saka should have just won a penalty. If it isn't, then stop calling it on the CBs

It feels like I’m watching game #1 of the season, which borderline knocked me out by how bad we got outplayed

Tavares barely got touched on the first goal and decided he'd just duck out of the challenge and on the Saka chance he completely flung his leg out to the left to try to draw a foul. Ref got both totally correct.

He got a two handed shove in the back. I'm fine not giving that as a foul if it's consistent. As for the Saka challenge, ignoring the upper body shove, this is the first time leaving a leg out to draw a foul hasn't been rewarded all season. Again, fine with it not being a foul as long as that's the standard across the entire year.
