Eriksen going to Brentford is turning out to be a gamble that is paying off.

I think for corners, because it’s compacted in the area, they let more go. Honestly with today, had the player looked for the ball at any point and then collided, I don’t think it’s given. But he went right for Jota and didn’t even look for anything. It was just stupid.

Even if he was just a little better at acting and didn’t wrap the arm around Jota’s back it probably gets let go. Jota did have his hands on the defenders shoulders (cause that’s a natural place when someone tackles you with a shoulder to the midsection) so if the defender just flails his arms out and pretends Jota is pushing him down they ignore it.
