Flyer fans know what they are getting. A guy who might not play with much of a defensive side, or an overly physical style, but is solely focused on driving the puck in. We have a lot of play makers and crafty guys, but no one, really since Jeff Carter who has a shoot first mentality. We know JVR can be inconsistent, and we know there are nights where he looks like the best player in the world. 30+ goals is going to do a lot for a Flyers team that desperately needs depth. The top6 now is one of the best in the league, their bottom six is building with youth, and their D core is looking great once they dump the dead weight anchors. When Carter Hart finally shows up, that is one hell of a complete team.
