Let's not. He'd get eaten alive by NHL shooters right now. The weaknesses I've noticed in his lateral movement would be badly exposed at the NHL.

Shouldve claimed Raanta. Same salary as Copley and then you have several options. I think we know what rittich is .901 save pct over last 2 seasons.. Raanta terrible of late but has been decent before.. basically give Raanta a tryout. Not much to lose.

I'm quickly becoming convinced this management group has no idea how to develop goalies.
They seem to be obsessed with size and nothing else. Portillo, Ingham, Villalta, Talbot, Rittich, Copley are all 6'3"+ and don't show much athleticism in net. All positioning and net coverage and if they get beat, that's it, they get scored on.

I'm also convincing myself that these same people had nothing to do with the Slukynsky pick as he's 6'1", athletic, and can make big saves out of nowhere.
