kunitz's first shift occurred

Lazily half-***** his way to a puck along the boards, subsequently out-muscled and loses the puck to a Blue Jacket. Later on, biffs a half-assed backhand pass to nothing along the defensive blueline, CBJ picks it off. More zone time for Columbus.

 Lookit him earn it.

Funny how a Crosby line shift can sustain offensive zone pressure when there's a defenseman capable of handling a pass and making a play. Pouliot nicely handled that backhand pass from Kunitz.

What a terrible image.

Pouliot did a great job of tying up his guy as he went to the net. Better job thus far.

Clendening faced some tough plays down low & looked okay, not great. Need someone like him to step up and earn it...
