One of the saddest displays of hockey that I've seen lately - thank goodness we have Malkin.

Malkin interview!

someone ask one of the media clowns to ask Johnston if he believes the team has a better transition game with Scuderi in

5 games in a row we get stoned by a "hot goalie", 5 games with no points by Crosby, and Kunitz still has no points either.

Probably should thank Bernier while we're at it. He wasn't bad all game but he gifted us those first two which was all we needed to get the "win" I guess.

That was a dreadful game to watch. Much like 99% of them in the MJ era.

Somehow Johnston has turned the Pens into a team that can't score. And we don't even win that often despite this boring slog hockey.

As bad as Kunitz has been, I'd still rather flip Kessel and Hornqvist than move him off the top line if I had to choose.

Kunitz was just as bad last season, but Sid and Horny managed to succeed in spite of him.

Agreed 100% - Hornqvist is far less effective on Geno's line

Hope Sid has a minor injury cuz this kind of Sid the second half of his career ain't gonna get this team anywhere.

What was the final tally for ice time? D and F's plz.

Malkin's feathered area passes would be much easier for Kessel's stick to handle too. As it stands, Kessel's spending precious split seconds trying to corral a puck before doing something with it.

Only caught the first and parts of the second, but 87 was better than he has been, relatively speaking.

Twitter says something happened to Perron?

non Pens fan here... Loved what I saw from Sprong tonight even though he had no points. I thought he was better than a lot other forwards in the lineup... I hope he sticks past 9 games

He was ok. Made a few passes that could have lead to goals, and at least wasn't bobbling pucks.

Still looks rather pedestrian though.
