Hmmmm not bad .... obviously Schultz walks...Bjugstad potentially could get a late round pick from someone..I'd take brodie of he was signed if hanifin wasnt available... McCann is slight over paid... jarry slight under paid ..Marleau??? Not sure that's required..do like hainsey but not sure there enough left in the tank . I'd keep Rodrigues over Marleau but it's a wash ..
Lots of depth there ... D is improved

Murray will cost a lot to sign and isn't much of an improvement on CGY's current goalie tandem. Flames have 5 UFA defense this summer Hanifin is not available right now

So Calgary trades Hanifin. Loses Rittich in ED And the "upgrade" is for a goalie coming off a .899 sv percentage. Easy pass.

Hopefully we just re-sign Brodie and consider moving Monahan for a C or RW.

There was actually a trade for Johnson last season for a late round pick. Pitt declined at last moment because of injuries. I believe the team was Detroit

If you followed the penguins at all you would know this as fact pal.....there were 2 deals at certain times.. one involved kessel to Minn...the other was a late round pick straight for johnson... this was straight out of Pittsburgh. The reason they didnt pull the trigger on the Johnson deal was they lost D men at the same time to injuries.. this is common knowledge for actual pens fans... you obviously are not , just a keyboard wizard......

i seriously doubt this. No Gm would trade for JJ without a sweetener coming in return

Credibility right there .... point is there was a deal in place in 2019. He definitely was better this year and another year off his contract.. he could fetch another low level deal...

Back to main trade.. I'd dump Murray for something of value.. I actually like the off season work the poster did
