Parise vs Pouliot + Jacques

Parise's points in the AHL were at the same age as Pouliot and against much much tougher opposition.

And with much stronger teammates. Parise played with both MacAmmond and Rheaume, both AHL veterans who have put up point/game seasons in the minor leagues. Pouliot played the entire season with Winchester and Jacques, a minor prospect and a fresh rookie.

No kidding. Thorton got like 10 points as an 18 year old.
Generally, bigger guys take longer in any event.

Can't discuss comparing Pouliot & Jacques Vs. Parise because I just don't know much about the two Oiler kids. However, when it comes to Parise, I love the talent this kid has but even more it's his desire and character. The kid will be one of the Devils leader in a few more years.
