He’s something we already have in Nurse. We don’t need more. Although he has more potential, he’s also not natural skilled offensively. Why take another good dman prospect when we already have so many when our forward cupboard has literally only 2 prospects that are considered ok?

probably a bit of both - my thinking is that he is a better skating klefbom with a bit more physicality and a bit more offence

not as physical as nurse, about as good a skater as nurse

questions surround his offensive upside IMO

at this point you should assume that Larsson is gone by the end of the year and Klefbom may not play a again that leaves you with nurse, bear, broberg Jones and Bouchard - if you lose one of those dmen to injury or if broberg or Bouchard fail, you need another d-man

I know teams said they won’t factor in this season as much, but he’s healthy now and had a good camp and has 5 points in his first weekend of hockey, 2 games, wouldn’t surprise me at all to see him picked before Edmonton’s pick even.

Let me ask you, if you could draft another Nurse at 14, when you drafted the original Nurse at 7 wouldn't you do it? Or was Nurse a reach at 7 which I said all along.
