ok so you wont answer.

I don't know what you are even implying. I laughed at you calling him an enforcer, which has nothing at all to do with whether he has a A on his jersey. But if you want an answer, then yes, he has an A. Your point?

nonsense, every team has an enforcer. i found this video shoud I be terrified of taylor hall? is bush league hockey everytime an opposing team dares to hit a Bruin? Clutterbuck has a long NHL career and he plays the way he does to.stay in the league to protect his teams skill players. notice he wears an A on his jersey? islanders must be the mew most dirty evil team ever just like the caps, lightning, blues or whoever dares to play physical hockey

No u shouldn't be but the islanders should be. lol Because of is high end skill :naughty:

Sorry but Clutterback is not an enforcer, As far as the physical bring it on, but Clutterbuck goes over that edge far to often for my liking. Like giving Pasta a cheap-shot after he scored. He's a punk, point blank. When a guy scores a goal tip your hat to him but then run him over with a clean hit the next time your out against him.

he has an A bc if his work on the ice, sticking up for his teammates and making hard hits, and agitating. they dont just hand that out as a participation trophy

Mom told me don’t speak for others but I suspect enforcer was used loosely and point is he runs around, hits everything, etc. he’s always played that way. So probably something like “punk rat douche who hits” is more appropriate.

the bump in pasta was nothing. Just stirring the pot. It’s what he does.

Still not getting how this rebuts me laughing at the fact you called him a enforcer. But hey, you keep doing you.

I concur, but he's not allowed to bump or stir my Pasta after the whistle, without repercussions. ;)

so whats his role? PP specialist?

He's not a frigging enforcer! The only true enforcer in the NHL today is Ryan Reaves, in that he's really only there to fight. Clutterbuck barely even fights, never mind only being there to fight. Matt Martin is 100 times closer to enforcer than Cal Clutterbuck, and I wouldn't call him an enforcer.

I'm 90% sure that Trotz and Lamoriello did their research and know that the Bruins have typically had trouble with teams that are dirty and start shit after the whistles (Tampa, St. Louis), like it throws them off their game, but their roster is ill-equipped to actually play that way so they're attempting to be shit stirrers on orders of their management but are doing a half-hearted job at it because that's not how they usually play, and the Bruins can only brush it off and laugh at it as they dump 5 goals on them.

Nonsense. The only opponent in his 10 fights in 13 years who can be labeled an NHL fighter is Khaira, the guy who was knocked out cold by Brett Ritchie. Khaira dummied Clutterbuck. Otherwise, he was fighting guys like Avery, Ott, and that devastating enforcer Keith Yandle. And that was 10 years ago.

ETA - You really need to start reading your links:

Clutterbuck might not be an enforcer in the strictest sense of the word

I did and didn't like that Pasta responded to that. Sure he's sticking up for himself a little but it also lets CC know it is working.

If Frederic is in next game then he should go do the same thing to CC during every skate-by. Go be a pest to the pest.

One thing going for Clutterbuck if he’s in a fight he won’t have to worry about getting hit in the eye

If Smith is out, I've seen people who want Freddy in there, but honestly, I don't want them to start anything and give them any life. I'd rather a quiet guy like Kuhlman or Blidh just plays solid hockey and nobody wakes the Isles up from their sleep.
