Texas
11,2M next year with a NMC kicking in yikes

The buy out would last until 2038

Even THN is jumping in

Buy him out now before it gets too expensive once he hits a certain age. You can save 31 million if you buy him out now from what I understand.

Can,t wait to hear the Boston fans during game 7....sleeping. That crowd has been the worst out of every crowd so far.

Leafs will win it. With Cam Ward..euh Joseph Woll.....lol

Toronto learned something. Something clicked.
Not really. Last two times Toronto has lost to Boston, it's always been Toronto climbing back from being down 3-1 just to lose in game 7, so if they win tomorrow THEN they've learned something.

Tsn 1200 broke it down and this is the 3rd time its gone the same.

Boston wins, Toronto wins, Boston wins x2, Toronto wins x2

UFA - Habs bought Québec Sr League with threat of shutting it down to ensure Le Gros Bill would sign with them.

The largest contract of the time ever given to an NHL player
Yeah, but it's not like he then came into the league and was great, they sent him to some Q league for a bit to get better.

Beliveau had no interest of playing in NHL, so Selke Sr got ownership to buy Quebec Sr league, forcing Beliveau to join Habs pronto as a 21-year old

He started playing for QSHL at 15, Habs called him up for max number of games allowed for an amateur from age 18 - buy buying QSHL Habs got it changed from amateur to semi pro status thus forcing Beliveau’s hands

Habs offensive greatness in drafting & developing over their history has been driven by W and D

I thought it was under 25.

Yes, because he's still 25. Buyout is 1/3. After this year, it escalates massively.
I wonder what the sentiment is within the Kings’ org.

Is buying PLD a serious consideration? How does a player perform so poorly on the first year of a multi-year high salary deal? What a quagmire.

That needs to change. We got lucky with Vegas missing the mark on Suzuki.
Agreed, but that’s been the case throughout their history: except for Morenz, Lach, Pocket Rocket, Lemaire, Koivu, and Plekanec top-2Cs were almost always acquired via trades: just last 50ish years, Mahovolich, Bobby Smith, Muller, Damphousse, Turgeon…

Hate the fact that oilers advance but kings were utter garbage. Hope a better team will take care of them in the second round
They get Vancouver or preds. Easiest first 2 rounds for any team. And they will face a beat up team in the conf final. I think they go to finals this year.
