You answered your own question dude. Wins don't mean anything. It's all evaluation of the personnel you have. You see if they can handle it, so you know if you can put them out there when the games matter.

There's no point in putting guys you already know can handle it out there in preseason, because you don't learn anything.

Often times kids teams will beat A teams in pre season because the A players don't give a crap.

Everything changes once the games matter, that's why ******** on NHLers in the preseason often ends up looking dumb.
