-Another good game for the Gens against a much older team, especially with Guelph healthy scratching 2 of their 4 2006's. Gens played right with them the entire game and led the play for a lot of it.
-If the Gens don't make the playoffs, it'll be because of the shootout. Ryan Gagnier is now 3/6 this year. Everyone else combined is 0/11 (Harrison was 1/4).
-Still in shock that Guelph didn't start Leaver in what could be his only ever game @ Oshawa in his OHL career, but glad to see Oster look good against his former squad stopping 36/40. He's now an impressive 6-2-2 with a 2.08 GAA and a .936 save % in 10 games with the Gens
-Gens PP continues to be incredible despite losing their PP QB and top sniper at the deadline. Rolofs picks up 3 PPGs this weekend and it's now 2nd in the OHL at 26.2% (Windsor in first at 26.3%)
-Came into this game interested to see Ben Danford and Cam Allen and while I may be biased, I don't see how anyone could watch that game and not think Danford looked like the far better prospect. Could really see him being a 1st rounder (along with Sennecke) in the 2024 NHL Draft, with Marrelli going a couple rounds later
-Canada games starts tonight with Ontario taking on BC. Basically all of Team Ontario is OHLDraft top prospects so keep an eye on that. Gens could get 2/3 of them hopefully with the 3 top 25 picks
